We use git pull to distribute the software.
I try to keep it exactly the same as the stuff in gitorious.org mainline
master. If there is a difference, that should be fixed. If I can figure
out how to do that comparison, I will rectify it.
Can you open a ticket for the problem, and I'll ask Sarven Capadisli to
look at it? He does most of the UI stuff for us.
I understand this is a developer's
list. Perhaps a user list should be created, or a bulletin board?
I don't think our user/dev community is sufficiently big to justify a
separate mailing list.
I am
sure others are seeing the problems I am seeing with, for example,
search. But it hasn't being acknowledged as a bug or issue (I just
recently opened a ticket for it).
I acknowledge that you've found a bug. I'm looking at it, and I've asked
Robin Millette, who implemented the most recent iteration of the search
code, to review the problems.
Search shouldn't suck. There's only so much we can do using MySQL's
built-in features, but we'll see what we can do.
