Hi, folks. So, I wanted to give some info about what's going on with
gitorious.org.
First, the dev repo is gone. The two branches in that repo (0.7.x and
0.8.x) are now in mainline.
Mainline now has 5 branches:
* /master/ - the up-to-date stable stuff. This is what we run on
status.net.
* /testing/ - as we go into a release cycle, this will be where new
changes go.
* /0.7.x /- the old stable version. Possible to have urgent security
patches here, but unlikely.
* /0.8.x/ - the new stable version.
* /0.9.x - /the new dev version.
It should be pretty easy to re-point your local repos at these new branches.
