Right. This exists.
Log in and go to your Subscriptions page. (Either by going to "http:// identi.ca/<USERNAME>/subscriptions" or by going down your profile and clicking on "Subscriptions:" in the stats section on the right)
Here it lists all the people you are subscribed to, and each one has a checkbox next to it marking whether or not you want to receive their messages via Jabber or SMS.
