Was there a change made July 15th to the identica Facebook app?

Starting July 15th, the posts from identi.ca to facebook no longer
appear as regular posts but as special identi.ca app messages. This
creates a nice icon with a link to the identi.ca app info page which
is lovely, but the messages appear as blank (with said icon) in the
facebook iPhone app. Messages prior to July 15th appear in the
Facebook iPhone app just like any other post.
