*UPDATE: 838 S Crenshaw Bl* Two male FF's briefly trapped by debris
during firefight while flames surrounded them, when first floor (over
basement) apparently gave way, causing one to suffer a significant ankle
injury - but contrary to earlier report, no burns; In good condition, he
has been released from hospital to remain off-duty; The other FF
suffered painful 2nd degree burns to as much as 10% of his body, as well
as small burns to hands. In fair condition, he was stabilized at the
closest trauma center before being transferred to the Grossman Burn
Center at West Hills Hospital for further evaluation. No other injuries
