Hi everyone As your hear we are working on the usability of LAM, during our sketching sessions and the user research a few questions arised. So if you could answer those, tis would be really helpful.
1. It is possible to change the attributes that are shown in the tables in LAM, for example in the user table (User IDÂ First name Last name UID number GID number). Does anyone use that feature, how do you use it? 2. When you are searching for Users or Groups, do you ever need multiple search fields? (for example group name & group description)? How do you search for user if you installations has thousands? 3. What are you using PDF export for? Also during user research we saw what we think are the primary things most of you use LAM for. Please read our findings and you're welcome to agree or disagree with these statements. - The single most important task for LAM is to create new user accounts. - Once accounts are set up, things change rarely, except for assignment to groups. - The possibility to create home directories during account creation is a major advantage of LAM.
