as Andrew mentioned you can configure LAM to use SHA as hashing type.

For the Google module please file a feature request here:

Please enter some details e.g. where to get the LDAP schema, links to
documentation, tutorials, etc.
Then I can check what effort is required and if this would be a valuable
new feature for LAM.
