this sounds really strange. The tree view should display all entries
while the lists use filters. So this case should be impossible...

This could be related to your synchronization. Is the user displayed
when connecting LAM to the master? Is the user somehow special compared
to your other users?

Please also check if your logs (/var/log/syslog) contain any messages
about LDAP database errors etc.
