Hi Michael,
  Well... your DNs depends for your LDAP server and how its setup. Typically
your DN looks more like "cn=user,dc=example,dc=com". You may want to read up a
bit on what LDAP DNs are.

http://www.zytrax.com/books/ldap/apa/dn-rdn.html

Hope that helps.  :)

Subject: [Lam-public] How do i set up my DN

Hi there,

I just installed LAM on Ubuntu 11.04 but I am experiencing problems with the
DN.

When I do a Hostname check I get

cloud.kaplan.com.au

I am assuming my DN is:

dn=kaplan,dn=com,dn=au

When I go to the following address
"http://cloud.kaplan.com.au/lam/templates/login.php";
to log in firstly I only get Manager as an option. When I go into configure the
system

I set it up like so:

Then when I try to log into as admin I get the following error:

LDAP error, server says:
(34) Invalid DN syntax

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
