Hello All, When using setting the login method to ldap search LAM will also search the directory for the user given the suffix and filter specified. So if the suffix is dc=example,dc=com and the filter is uid=%USER% the resulting user dn could be uid=user01,ou=People,dc=example,dc=com. This is causing an issue when I wish to login as the Directory Manager, who's dn is "cn=Directory Manager", or technically "cn=Directory Manager,cn=Root DNs,cn=config".
Is there a way to exclude certain user entries from the search suffix/filter when using the ldap search login method so one can login with as "cn=Directory Manager"? thanks! -- Darin Perusich Email: [email protected] Office: 716-888-3690 The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
