Did you try pass-through authentication as suggested by Microsoft?
There are two sync tools, and the latest one (Azure AD Connect Cloud

Yup, hence the idea to write this feature request.
But it seems there are already people who published scripts that can be
run periodically and do the same job. So it seems there are already
solutions for this issue.
True, but they are all PowerShell oriented, and we are a linux-only
shop, so we would greatly prefer something that we understand better
than all the PowerScript voodoo that they doo.
Plus: LAM is in the center of our operations, if something would go
wrong there, we would notice immediately. much contrary to PowerShell
scripts not running or not doing their job properly.
Anyway: Do I gather from the above that you are not too keen on
implementing something for this task in lam?
Perhaps also we are the only ones who would like to see this, as I don't
see any others chiming in with me-too's...
