I thought that I should try to figure out this problem first and make it
"stable" at this version before upgrading, but I will give it a try and
see how that goes.
I can see that the TreeView was rewritten in v 7.6 and I had to
reconfigure the treeSuffix, to see anything at all.

version 7.7 is no longer supported. This one is from 2021.
I suggest to upgrade to Ubuntu 24 LTS and upgrade to the latest LAM
release.
