I purchased a 1/4 hp electric die grinder from Sears which lasted through
my entire build time of 10 years ! It is not variable speed but I used it
with a standard household light dimmer which worked great. I had a 6"
pneumatic D/A which I tried not to use because it sprayed everything with
its nasty wet & oily exhaust.
Just my .02 for all the newbies
