It is possible that afterwards I did this "1 week public notice" thing for
some time when processing requests, I don't really remember. However in
more recent times I clearly had forgotten about that. I think when others
handled requests they also went ahead straightaway to file a bug on
Bugzilla/Phabricator.
This seems to be a good time then to update the onwiki documentation to the
actual practice or to what we would like it to be.
