They are fixing it piece by piece. Amir Sabaradani (User:Ladsgroup), who
has been the one creating wikis lately, wrote a summary of some of the
problems he's come across here

an idea of why it is very difficult. But basically there is no "dry run"
for creating new wikis in production, the only way to see what's wrong is
to actually create a wiki and then solve the problems that arise when they
do. I for one am very thankful that he takes the time to do so.
