Ah, well if *that*'s the only problem... I've friends in the area I keep
threatening to visit, and museums I keep threatening the kids with. I can
reassure you in person. Heck, I'll even tell your cat I'm serious. If you
don't have a cat, I can fix that too. Granted, I might just be reassuring
you that your decision to *not* ever see me in person was the right one,
but... :)

The interface with Larry's spotty at times (though we chat more or less
weekly, when people aren't busy flying planes into places I used to work),
but don't forget we do have Perl 5 (and Python and Ruby, to some extent) as
a base, so we don't have to be in contact all that often. I know far more
about where perl 5 went wrong than any sane person has any right to know.
While I'm shooting rather higher than just fixing those, even that far will
get us a darned good base to start from.
Scurrilous comments about my current state of sanity are, of course, always
in order. :-P
