Category: None Group: development version >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Dominique Pelle (dominikoeo) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: False positive with smileys in rule EN_UNPAIRED_BRACKETS Initial Comment: This sentences gives a false error because of the unpaired bracket ;-) It's quite clear here that the smiley which contains a parenthesis should not trigger such error. The rule EN_UNPAIRED_BRACKETS should have an exception for smileys. There are many kinds of smilers, but at least the 2 followings which are the most commons should not cause an error: :-) ;-) The false error happens in several languages. It happens at least in English, French, Esperanto, Breton, Italian, German and probably more languages (rule *UNPAIRED_BRACKETS). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Daniel Naber (dnaber) Date: 2013-02-23 14:12 Message: Thanks for the report, should be fixed now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=655717&aid=3604367&group_id=110216 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites.
