Why? It's just for internal processing, not for maintaining the 
dictionary. What might possibly go wrong?

I don't get it, Ruud. Do you mean that hunspell dictionaries contain a 
lot of wrong and unlikely words? If not, how come uncompounding could 
create them? I'm confused right now. Either hunspell stores correct 
words, and then we can unpack the dictionary (the length is not a 
concern at all for our dictionaries, unless it becomes over several 
hundreds gigabytes, because it would compress badly then), or it does 
not. If it does not, then it seems that compounding languages are not 
supported by hunspell.
