Hi,

I made some improvements to our Wikipedia check: you can now directly
apply corrections to Wikipedia.

Our Wikipedia dump check has a "Check now" link now for every match we
found. It will trigger a re-check of that page:
http://community.languagetool.org/corpusMatch/list?lang=en

You can then not only see the match, but also select a correction via
link, or enter a correction to a text field. If you then submit the page
you will be sent to the Wikipedia diff view, where you can see if every
change was applied as expected. If you're logged in at Wikipedia your
Wikipedia user will be used, if not, the changes will be done
anonymously (if Wikipedia allows that for that page).

What this means is that you can fix many errors with just a few mouse
clicks - assuming LT finds a real error, and its suggestions are good.

You can also use this for any Wikipedia page and for random pages:
http://community.languagetool.org/wikiCheck/prepareDiff?lang=en
Use the "Example page" link there to get a page with nice example
errors.
(this URL is not yet linked from the homepage)

There are some bugs, caused by the overly complex Wikipedia syntax. We
use an external parser to get a mapping from Wikipedia syntax to plain
text, and that sometimes fails.

I'm looking forward to get feedback about this feature, but I cannot
promise to fix errors that are caused by the Wikipedia syntax, it's very
difficult to get all the cases right.

Regards
  Daniel
