When I changed the main.java file in the standalone folder as stated below:
static final String HTML_FONT_START = "<font face='Arial Unicode MS, Arial, Helvetica'>"; static final String HTML_FONT_END = "</font>"; static final String HTML_GREY_FONT_START = "<font face='Arial Unicode MS, Arial, Helvetica' color='#666666'>"; The Tamil fonts are displayed in the results area, but the dialog and menu areas are still problematic.
