I'd like to bring attention to a problem with one of the English
disambiguation rules:

Incorrect: *They are laugh loudly.*
Correct: *They are laughing loudly.*

here the writer may have intended to write *laughing*, however the word
'laugh' is being understood only as 'NN', as shown from the log from a text
analysis:

*was_is_VB_NN:1
laugh[laugh/NN,laugh/VB,laugh/VBP,B-NP-singular|E-NP-singular] ->*
*laugh[laugh/NN,B-NP-singular|E-NP-singular]*

this means that we cannot detect this using a VB POS tag in a pattern rule
such as:

*<pattern>*
*    <token regexp="yes">is|are|be</token>*
    *<token postag="VBP"/>*
    *<token postag="RB"/>*
*</pattern>*

Would it be possible for someone to adjust this rule so the verb retains
the VBP POS tag.

Thanks,
Jon.
