Hm, are we talking about suggestions or references in the pattern? Because it's certainly possible to do this in suggestions by simply using an appropriate match number. Of course, there might be a limitation: you cannot use the tag of another token.
If you can think of a clear syntax for this, we could add this. But I'm too busy right now, so I'd only add this to my TODO.
