I've tested 2.9 also in Apache OO - it also does not seem to be
installed. I also cannot remove it, the difference is that I do not get
any message.
In both cases the 2.9 extension shows only the "remove" button in
extension manager and not the "Disable" one.
- if 2.9 is installed, there it has no entries in the menu and options.
The 2.8 version works well
My Java is Oracle 1.7.0_75, running Ubuntu 14.10 64 bit
