I wish to advise that I have recently run into a side effect of installing LanguageTool on my Xubuntu 14.10 (64 bit) system. When LT is installed on that system (and from informed reports, relevant thread at <https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=76111>) other Debian based linux systems, OpenOffice Writer Help /Find tab ceases to work, returning no hits for previously satisfactory searches. If the OO user profile is deleted a new User Profile is generated on next OO startup. Installation of LT (2.8) on such a clean system causes the problem. LanguageTool functions appear to work properly, as do the other OO Help functions.
