Dear LanguageToolers,

first off, thanks for providing this great project to the world of
free software! I really love what you're building.

I'm the maintainer of a language independent code analysis framework
coala [1]. Right now we're aiming to integrate popular linters into
the framework to create a unified UI for checking all languages. I'm
currently looking into integrating LanguageTool so coala can also
check natural language out of the box. I can imagine this really
useful as we're also currently have a working prototype of a gedit
plugin and more are coming - users will be able to use LanguageTool
right within gedit (or one of our other interfaces).

While trying to patch together some prototype [2] I came to notice
that you don't seem to have any installation instructions for non-java
projects. I'd really love to use your nice Java API [3] and I've taken
care of bridging from python to java. However installing LanguageTool
platform independently (Windows, Mac, Linux) is nontrivial at least
for me and a short research on DuckDuckGo. Do you have any hints on
how we could do that? I can imagine this being trivial for someone
knowing "the java way". We'll want to do that automated so our users
have no extra effort.

If you have any questions about coala, just respond, use our mailing
list (CCed, [4]), join our gitter channel [5] or just look up our docs
[6].

Many thanks,

Lasse Schuirmann
