It's a known issue that's tricky to fix and that I won't work on, as 
it's somehow related to the outdated editor component we use on 
languagetool.org. Someday, it might be updated, then I might take care 
of this bug.

That's also a known bug that I'm working to fix, but the fix will remove 
the visual feedback of the language that has been detected (the blue 
sign in the lower right corner of the text field). You can find the 
settings at Extras -> Add-ons, some add-ons have a "Settings" button 
next to them.
