Yes, the format of automata did not change. The advantage of recompiling/ converting your toolset to the new code might be in more strict verification that your input is valid though. Also, if you do use old dictionaries (after upgrading their properties), you can search for regressions by dumping them (dict_decompile) before and after changes to your toolset code.
