I can talk about the value that it would have for the projects I handle.
Imagine you have a team of 50 linguists. You want them to spell check a
some web pages, and you would like them to use hunspell. If you have only
tool that performs spell checking, you prepare instructions once and refer
to that tool only once. If you don't, you have to either prepare
instructions for 50 approaches or refer to 50 different add-ons, or let
each linguist choose the spell checker that is better for their language,
thus increasing complexity for you as a project manager and to give support
and guidance, losing control of the process and increasing the chances that
errors occurr.
