Currently for antipattern to work it needs to overlap with the pattern. Would it make sense to add an attribute (e.g. "overlap") that can be set to false so the antipattern can be appied anywhere in the sentence?
E.g. often in rules when I need to guess the context by some words in the sentence I have to use skip with prev/next which is quite cumbersome.
