it's not just recompiling, the driver would have to be ported to
solaris, and solaris and linux drivers are quite different
furthermore, the licence if this particular driver explicitly forbides
everyone to distribute modified copies of the driver without explicit
permision from connexant
i think your best bet is to actually mail connexant and ask them to do
this themselves
