Hi, I`m using Asus F3Ja (C2D 2.0Ghz, 3Gb, ATI x1600, intel 3945 wifi card).
In general - everything is working ok, and progress from release to release is obvious. Thank you for this. Now to the problems: 1) ATI x1600 - AFAIK, I cannot use any DRI functions, this means that Compiz/3d is no use for me. That`s ok, I`m not an gamer, nor compiz admirer - but I cannot watch video files via mplayer in fullscreen (except for mplayer -vo sdl mode, which is laggy (artefacts appaear on screen)). Something can be done with videoplaying/drivers? 2) Intel 3945 - it connects nicely to my Linksys wifi access point, but from time to time, interface is becoming "frozen" - no in\out packets coming\going through it, and no messages in dmesg. This appears every 2-5 mins. Also, downloading speed is going down from 8Mbs to 200-100Kbs while downloading files from inet. Then it`s also becoming "forzen"...Refreshing some info from internet browser helps to increase speed temporary... 3) Suspend\resume functions, power management - just point me to howto\manual info re this.
