Hello, Just wondering if anyone could tell me what output is useful to the people working on Open Solaris e.g.
dmesg prtconf -D scanpci -v I've got a Toshiba Satellite A60 that has a few problems of which, sound is one. The AC97 (ATI IXP) soundcard has only worked using the OSS sound drivers but now, that doesn't even work. I was holding off reporting anything thinking it would all be fixed with time but things seem to be getting worse. Once I find out what is needed, I'll do a fresh install, put the results on my Website and post links to those results. I'll also try to include as much technical info about my laptop as possible in hope that someone might be able to help me. Thanks in advance Steve
