That's actually not true, but:

        - you need to compile the tools and drivers all in 64 bit mode
        - you need to have a 64 bit windows driver
        - the 64 bit windows driver cannot use any FP code (SSE/SSE2/SSE3)


but the only driver which I knew was working in 64 bit mode now suffers
from an as yet undiagnosed problem.
