I now have the Inspiron fully functional with the iwi and bfe drivers. A note for other noobs for the bfe driver user the gld2 Makefile.config with this release even if the readme says to use gld3.
Is there anywhere that I can learn more on the OpenSolaris system i.e. devicenames and general administration? I have a background in Linux (obviously) and some OpenBSD but am completely unfamiliar with Solaris so need a bit of guidance to get use to this. Once I get more familiar with this I will look at moving my Inspiron XPS(9100) to OpenSolaris as well. BTW I thank you for the O/S this is a much better desktop OS so far then OpenBSD.
