Hi, I have Realtek hd audio card on my laptop. I checked the Realtek website, but they don't have a driver for solaris, though they have one for linux.Then I installed oss drivers. The installation was successful. Even the 'osstest' ran fine. I could hear the sounds from both the speakers.
But, when I tried to play some song, it rebooted. Everytime my laptop reboots after login. Finally, I uninstalled the oss driver from my laptop. Any help ? Why does it reboot if i install oss ? Thanks Jitendra
