The iwi was integrated into snv_62, so suppose it should work by default if you run snv_62+. As to your failure, pls check: 1. The wifi chip is Intel 2200/2915 2. You get the correct version of driver from opensolaris.org if you run solaris other than snv_62+ 3. One thing that is always easy to neglect is the wifi button on the panel. Make sure it is open.
