Hi Alan

I have a low end Acer with a builtin Atheros wireless. I started with
Solaris 10 6/06 and added the OpenSolaris atheros drivers, wificonfig
and wpa packages. All workes perfectly, I can connect using WPA for
example. I have since done an upgrade to Solaris 10 11/06 and they
continue to work fine.

I wrote a simple script to do the ifconfig/wificonfig/wpa_supplicant
stuff when I boot up. Kind of a poor man's inetmenu I think.

If you plan on doing WPA then you need to download (for free) and
install the Solaris 10 Encryption Kit - SUNWcry from
http://sun.com/download under the Security section.
