I've got Solaris 10U2 (fully patched) and snv_46 installed on two
different slices on an IBM T43p notebook. It has bge and iwi
interfaces. I've been using inetmenu version 1.9 to configure
and unconfigure interfaces as I use the notebook at the office,
at home, and on travel. Inetmenu seems to work well configuring
interfaces and seems to deconfigure them also. However,
sometimes the command 'shutdown -i5 -y -g0' seems to hang
(forever) with the last thing printed being the output from
inetmenu. It happens less often if I manually run inetmenu
and deconfigure the active interface but it still happens sometimes
after I do that.

I've got frkit installed and the acpidrv is up to date on both
installs. Machine is a Pentium M (2.13 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Intel
915PM Express Chipset, ATI Mobility FireGL V3200 video, ...).

Any suggestions on how to see what is preventing shutdown?

Thanks,

Stuart
