thanks for the quick reply; downloaded opensolaris (dvd) cat the parts(5) installed opensolaris (nevada) downloaded the iwi-driver, pkgadd; ifconfig iwi0 plumb and low and behold its working and is looking good!!!
probably got to do a add_drive to start it every time I use the laptop; just the wpa_supplicant is not working yet, but thats a question of reading the docs thanks again and this distro is really looking fantastic!!! avatar13 This message posted from opensolaris.org
