Ok, I tried it with DVD-RWs : it works; but after burning the DVD -ROM I get an error message saying "There was an error writing to the CD". But the DVD is okay; I burned a 300 MB file and did a cksum of the source and target after burning the DVD. The details window for the error message is empty. The same error message (including the empty details window) occurs if I erase the DVD. And the question that remains unanswered is : What is gnome-mediaformat (/usr/lib/gmedia_format?) ? Should it work ? (It does not on my Ferrari) regards Bernd > _______________________________________________ > laptop-discuss mailing list > laptop-discuss at opensolaris.org > This message posted from opensolaris.org
