Hi list. I tried the gnome battstat applet from the laptop community. The problem I have is that after about one minute the system becomes unresponsive, load average jumps above three and prstat shows that the applet gets about 50% of my CPU. Removing the applet brings system to normal load. Does anyone experience something like this? Thanks. Fabio
