Hey laptop-discuss readers!

I'm stuck with a somewhat weird problem here. My notebook (an ASUS V6V)
is running nevada 33 and I'm suffering from poor wireless performance
every now an then. I own two access points: A DLink DI-614+ and a
Draytek Vigor 2500WE. When using opensolaris with the latter one (the
Draytek) everything turns out to work just fine. The link is stable and
everything's great - even with WEP encryption enabled. As soon as I
start using the DLink-AP, things start getting weird. A continous `ping'
on any host (even the AP itself) loses exactly 33% of all packets. I
already disabled 4x mode (which is kinda useless without DLink-NICs
nevertheless) and toggled between short and long preamble mode but it's
still a no go.

The V6V comes with an integrated Intel IPW2200, which works under both
Windows and Linux without a hitch. Even when using the DLink-AP. So it
*must* be something iwi/opensolaris related. Does anybody have a clue
what the problem might be?
