it was a human response... What i did was: 1- opened a support ticket... in whick i made my request 2- they replied with an automated response 3- someone closed the ticket and marked it as resolved/closed 4- i reopened it complaining it was not resolved 5- a human responded that he had frowarded the request to driver developers, that it didn't mean much, but they would consider it...
I'm sure this happens with all small projects... I remember the same situation with linux. At this point i have my laptop with no 3d accel and no wireless card, no blender, and i think that is pretty much what i'm missing for being in solaris... I really love it otherwise... But with a pressing need for wireless i'm miggrating for a little while... I know they are adding support for Ralink, but it's not there yet....
