Hi,

I was wondering if someone had any ideas on why I haven't been able to get
the wireless device to work with the Solaris 10 x86 January/06 release on
a Toshiba Tecra laptop. As per the hardware compatibility list, I
installed the iwi (version 0.4) iwi driver for the Intel 2915a/b/g, but I
have no luck. The following is what I see:

Do you want to continue with the installation of <SUNWiwi> [y,n,?] y

   Installing Intel Pro. Wireless 802.11a/b/g IPW2200B/G IPW2915A/B/G
Driver as <SUNWiwi>

   ## Installing part 1 of 1.
   /kernel/drv/amd64/iwi
   /kernel/drv/iwi
   [ verifying class <none> ]
   ## Executing postinstall script.
devfsadm: driver failed to attach: iwi
Warning: Driver (iwi) successfully added to system but failed to attach

   Installation of <SUNWiwi> was successful.

After a reboot, I'll see the following errors:

   Jun 1 17:05:40 peepers genunix: [ID 819705 kern.notice]
   /kernel/drv/iwi: undefined symbol
   Jun 1 17:05:40 peepers genunix: [ID 826211 kern.notice]
   'pci_config_put8'
   Jun 1 17:05:40 peepers genunix: [ID 472681 kern.notice] WARNING:
   mod_load: cannot load module 'iwi'

I know that the wireless device does work, and that it is indeed the
2915ABG, from the windows install (this laptop is currently setup as
dual-boot).

Any ideas on what I should try?

- Ron
