Did someone contact these guys to see if they might change the licence to something else than GPL to be able to be included in Solaris. Maybe they don't care much about the licence.
The other issue is that you have to use a firmware cutter, that extracts firmware from the closed source driver and loads it to the device. Chris This message posted from opensolaris.org
