I have a Sony PCG-V505DC2P. I installed the ath driver and was able to
get it to work once, but after rebooting, it no longer works. Here is
what I did:

|prtconf -vp
                Node 0x000010
                assigned-addresses:
82021010.00000000.e8200000.00000000.00010000
                reg:

                compatible: 'pci168c,13.1468.406.1' +
'pci168c,13.1468.406' + 'pci1468,406' + 'pci168c,13.1' + 'pci168c,13' +
'pciclass,020000' + 'pciclass,0200'
                model: 'Ethernet controller'
                power-consumption: 00000001.00000001
                fast-back-to-back:
                devsel-speed: 00000001
                interrupts: 00000001
                max-latency: 0000001c

                subsystem-vendor-id: 00001468
                subsystem-id: 00000406
                unit-address: '2'
                class-code: 00020000
                revision-id: 00000001
                vendor-id: 0000168c
                device-id: 00000013
                name: 'pci1468,406'

update_drv -a -i '"pci1468,406"' ath

ifconfig ath0 plumb
|

|wificonfig -i ath0 scan

--> This showed the SSIDs of several APs.

init 6

ifconfig ath0 plumb
-> ifconfig: plumb: ath0: No such file or directory

It should be noted that I'm running "inetmenu", but I'm not sure that has
anything to do with it.

I also tried the following:

update_drv -a -i '"pci1468,406"' ath
->("pci1468,406") already in use as a driver or alias.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Brian Strandtman
