me dumbo did a stupid thing.. pls help! I was looking at opensound.com and found the chip my hp pavillion dv9700 is on. Downloaded the solaris i386 package and installed the .pkg file. Ran the test .. everything is OK. Rebooted.. now the kernel is in infinite panic with lots of messages.
I looked at certain documents but cannot find anything specific to disable the driver and reboot. Also cannot find a way to install the driver in /tmp to test and debug. Any help is appreciated!
