It is "working" now.

When I boot up I get a notification balloon that says there are Wireless
Networks
in my area and to click it to choose one. Doing that pops up the Configurer.

I was not confused by the "Username" as some have been (in other threads) it
means 'your "Username" when you connect to your Router' (which _is_ actually a
Computer). Your Username would thus be your "Hostname". It might be better
if it were filled in already.

Most annoying was the greyed-out password field, just fill in everything else
(even the optional BSSID obtained with the "wificonfig -i ath0 scan" command)
and close the Panel.

When you try to login (assign ath0 to that Router) the popup will reopen and
this
time the password fields will NOT be greyed-out and will accept both ASCII and
HEX password (nice, eventually).

After enjoying these new features for half an hour it found another WiFi Router.
The "Notification Balloon" poped up the info and crashed my system - hung.

All is not perfect but it is "working" now.

Thanks for the help,
Rob
