Did you try clearing out the keys in between.  If not, I would suggest doing
this as root:

% dladm show-secobj
(look for any output starting with "nwam-")
% dladm delete-secobj nwam-xxxxx

where the "delete-secobj" argument is cut-and-pasted from the show-secobj
output.  Then try the OTHER/WPA thing again.  I'm not sure it will work, as
my recollection is that WPA is only supported on Solaris under the ath driver
but it may result in more helpful log messages.  Also, you might want to ask
questions like this on nwam-discuss as not all the experts from that team
hang out on laptop-discuss...
