Garrett, The Intel 2915ABG that IBM ships works with 802.11a under Windows XP without problems. The nice things about a is that there isn't any interference between channels as compared to b/g, there is less interference between wifi and other stuff like cordless phones and microwaves and so on, and finally the data rate is similar to g. The ath0 on the IBM Cardbus ABG wifi card connected with the 802.11a access point and seemed to work fine. Nice change!!! Hopefully the iwi driver will soon get support for 802.11a also :-) Stuart PS - I tried an email post to the discussion however I got emai saying "You are not allowed to post to this mailing list, ...". So I'm posting using a web browser ... This message posted from opensolaris.org
